S Y N O P S I S

Hoshi's not necessariliy the coolest kid in the world. He's sorta stupid, sorta wimpy, and irrevocably shy; not to mention there's just one too many differences between him and the people he's around, one with the potential to mean the world.

But he has a great singing voice.

So when he finds himself invited to an audition for an up-and-coming garage band known as the the Blufin Killies, he sees the chance to become something so much more. But when more and more 'coincidences' begin to emerge, Hoshi finds that his 'little secrets' just might turn out to be the difference between life and death.

If you like things that are all together way too tl;dr, then have we got the comic for you! Gay we have not, sorry to disappoint. At least not the wild flaming buttsecks kind that you most likely are looking for if this concerns you. Updates Saturday and some random Sundays.

I got tired of my old layout. Really, it was obnoxious. So have some template until I actually make a better one. Sounds good, right? Though I do rather like this layout. Hmm...

Today's what, the seventh? So then nest Sunday will be the fifteenth... So, yeah. BFK will be taking a week long break. Pages for the next week will be posted on 6/15/08 and then they will resume as normal after that.

I'm going on vacation. :}

Well, bon voyage wishes aside, and however odd this currently seems to me (I'm not much for comments, to be totally honest with you), I gotta say... Congrats. This is shaping up to be a very cool comic. I specifically enjoy the rhythm and tone of it and how it manages to effectively convey that sense of apathy and nonconformity I thought had died with the 90's (God, how I miss the 90s) without falling into the overly-used, over-clichéd, emo, melodramatic, angst-ridden tint that you'll find on way too many comics, characters, and whatnots now a days. But, yeah, that was overly wordy, so I'm just gonna hit the "submit" button before I regret this any further. In which case, ignore all of the above and let's just say, simply: Good job. :)
