The Blufin Killies

Hoshi's not necessariliy the coolest kid in the world. He's sorta stupid, sorta wimpy, and irrevocably shy; not to mention there's just one too many differences between him and the people he's around, one with the potential to mean the world.

But he has a great singing voice.

So when he finds himself invited to an audition for an up-and-coming garage band known as the the Blufin Killies, he sees the chance to become something so much more. But when more and more 'coincidences' begin to emerge, Hoshi finds that his 'little secrets' just might turn out to be the difference between life and death.

Been a while since I posted one of these. Does anyone even read these? Anyway, due to a new and improved method for organizing and scripting pages, (read this oh my god why didn't I find this before) I can now get lots more pages out more efficiently, which equals more pages for you guys! Also, since I'm done with my AP class for this year, I'll have more time on my hands anyway. The real trouble will be avoiding dumping twenty pages down a day, lol.

In other news, check out this new layout! I liked the old one and all, but it was too wintry. It's time to harken in summer, I tell you! So this is what I pooped out :\ I used a bunch of other people's shit to make this... Lemontea's A Certain Tea font from here, mouristada-stock's Magic circle brushes from here, concept-on-mac's awesome industrial brushes from here, and PhysicalMagic's cloud brushes from here.

I'm not sure how I'd survive making digital art without the internet. :\

SO YEAH. DOUBLE UPDATES FROM NOW ON TUESDAYS+SATURDAYS. (it's in the header lol)

Updates randomized!

Okay, so here's the deal. I can now make and scan comic pages on a regular basis, so BFK is now up and runnig again! The thing is, however, that my internet is retarded. It only lets me actually post things every once and a while. So this means I'll be posting BFK whenever I can, but since this is something akin to once or twice a week, expect double updates fairly regularly. (well maybe not 'regularly', but more often than has been happening beforehand at least)

So yeah. Comnsider yourselves informed!

Hiatus! :<

Umm, if you've come looking for an update then I hate to disappoint you, but... unfortunately an unforseeable chain of events has forced me into a wild goose chase in an attempt to find my Photoshop disk (which sounds fairly simple but I still don't even know who has it :\). As my comic is traditional, you may find yourself asking: "What's the point of Photoshop, then?" More than you know. BUT just know that I am in no way shape or form giving up on this (far from it), I just have no current means to create new pages/get them up on the site. So, uh, to my fans on SJ, we'll show up in your inbox eventually. And to my non-SmackJeevesian readers, just check back periodically and eventually something'll be up here.

Some day.

Umm.... I'll be back soon.

Today's what, the seventh? So then nest Sunday will be the fifteenth... So, yeah. BFK will be taking a week long break. Pages for the next week will be posted on 6/15/08 and then they will resume as normal after that.

I'm going on vacation. :}

Hello there everyone.

Why hello there fans of The BluFin Killies. I'm PleasantlyConfused, or; Anna. A co-author of this here comic. Mind you, i don't help in the drawing part, but the story/plotline/characters.
You'll see a few of my own pop up in here. They are my chillllldreeennnss, and i love them.
I've seen this thing grow since forever. 4 years now? And now it's finally on the internet for all to see. wow.
A wild ride. I remember when there were only two characters; you've seen them both already. Serei & Yami.
I don't remember what page you see 'em first on.

Wow, am i rambling? You get enough of this from Zorrin already. bwahaha.

Back in black...and white

holas everyones.

from now on for awhile (at least untill the end of Chapter 1), your daily dose of BFK shall be presented in awe-inspiring traditional ink. (and sharpie)

i am filling in for a bit as Temporary Submitter of the Pages (pretty cool, eh?), but seeing as i have no fancy to doll them up with (and by that i mean editing tools/skills) they'll be a bit of a shitty mess. the look, not the actual pages and/or story. you're welcome. :D

...so anyways, if there's any complaints and/or tips for working with Paint and Microsoft Photo Editor, they'd be appreciated.

so yeah, Chapter 1 is really great, sucks that you'll get it slower than i do, doesen't it? ha.

ok, i'll go.
